Totally Wicked Electronic Cigarettes

Those that know me see me smoking quite a few cigarettes throughout the course of a day. Stopping is always on my mind, but quitting smoking has been a never ending battle for me. I seem to always go back to the cancer sticks. Besides the obvious health risks, cigarettes put a major dent in my wallet..

With that being said, while pumping gas some time ago, I spotted a sign at the gas station advertising an alternative to smoking; the e-cigarette. I went ahead and bought one, mainly out of curiosity. It was enjoyable to use, but became too expensive to purchase the liquid filled cartridges required for the model I had. Being an entry level version, parts ran out quickly, and the e-cig became expensive to use. This resulted in going back to the old Marlborough Lights.

An e-cigarette is a simple concept. A battery is attached to a liquid atomizer that vaporizes a liquid based nicotine solution. The liquid is supplied to the atomizer in different fashions-pre filled cartridges, liquid fillable tubes and tanks are all used. The user simply pushes a button to activate the atomizer and inhales the vapor. This in turn provides your body with nicotine and even looks like you’re smoking, All that is exhaled is an odorless vapor that looks like smoke. People commonly refer to using a quality e-cig as “vaping”.

A few months had passed, and while driving through Bradenton like usual, I kept seeing a place called “Totally Wicked Vapor Lounge”, and a big sign advertising their electronic cigarettes. Passing by this place a dozen times before, I finally stopped in to take a look.

Being cheap is the norm for me, or let’s just say frugal. This place was very nice inside so pricing was my main concern. After talking to the staff, (which by the way is very customer oriented) and testing the product, Totally Wicked had me sold on their line of “Tornado” e-cigs. The quality was excellent and the staff had a legitimate stance as to why the product they sell is far superior to the model I had.

The initial price of the product is more expensive than a gas station or flea market model, but in the long run it’s worth the investment. While Totally Wicked has many different models, they specialize in liquid refillable e-cigs, not only because of cost effectiveness due to not having to spend as much money on accessories, but quality of the hit or inhalation. When using the Totally Wicked e-cig, one gets a great throat blast of nicotine almost like the real thing, and with the amount of flavors to choose from, it’s not hard to find one or more to your liking, even the same flavor as your favorite cigarette. In addition, the battery and atomizer life of Totally Wicked e-cigs is very lengthy, the product itself is durable, and the amount of accessories available makes “vaping” a very clean, hassle free experience.

Now you have to remember, this is not a smoking cessation device, but in my case, cigarette use has gone down drastically, plus the level of nicotine in the liquid is available in different strengths. I could envision using this to quit smoking by tapering nicotine levels down, and not be miserable while doing so, such as so many other past attempts at quitting smoking.

Overall, the pros outweigh the cons. After the initial e-cig and accessory purchase, all that’s needed to vape is liquid, so it is cost efficient. I am also pleased that my e-cig has not had any problems, it’s proven to be durable, and the staff at Totally Wicked is great as well, showing how to get maximum performance out of the product.

Another good aspect of the e-cig is that the law does not restrict Vaping. Do it at the bar, in church, at the ballgame, in the movie theater, at work, while riding in the car, library-anywhere you want. The vapor is undetectable except for its smoke like appearance. Most people aren’t bothered by the vapors. I have received no complaints. The fruit flavored liquids even smell good.

My e-cig is most helpful when I’m on a boat with someone who hates cigarette smoke, in the car and when at the bars. Hell, anywhere I don’t want to smoke a cigarette, I use my e-cig. I love it.
